DAF truck interior and comfort

In modern DAF truck models, a digital screen can also be integrated, providing additional information such as navigation, fuel consumption, and vehicle diagnostic data. An enhanced driver experience is ensured through logically grouped settings and the Driver Performance Assistant (DPA) program, offering more guidance on driving efficiently and economically.

Another advantage of the DAF cabin is the easily controllable climate control system. It features a one-touch defrost function, standing ventilation function, timed heating function, and an automatic air recirculation system. The temperature and ventilation functions can be adjusted through the rear panel control block, providing exceptional convenience for the driver. Additionally, this temperature and climate control system is highly efficient, ensuring reduced fuel consumption.
Driver comfort is further enhanced by the redesigned interior lighting of DAF trucks, controlled by an innovative rotary switch. The control button is located in the centre of the dashboard console, making it easily accessible. Drivers can choose various lighting modes for different driving and resting conditions, and there is a dimming function for added convenience. For maximum comfort, a toggle switch is provided on the rear panel.
Driver comfort is inseparable from driving safety. This is ensured by features such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), lane departure warning system, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
